Dr. (Prof.) Sandeep Guleria

Dr. (Prof.) Sandeep Guleria is one of India’s most renowned transplant surgeons, having over 30 years of expertise in kidney transplantation and vascular access surgery. He is currently a Senior Consultant in General Surgery, GI Surgery, and Transplantation at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi, where he has made important contributions to the evolution of kidney transplant treatment in India.

Dr. Guleria has conducted over 10,000 successful kidney transplants, making him one of the most reputable doctors in the profession. His specialisation includes kidney transplant surgery, peritoneal dialysis access, vascular access techniques, and percutaneous renal biopsies. He is known for his empathetic approach and ensures that patients and their families are well-informed and supported throughout the treatment process.
