About Dr. K.K. Handa

Dr. K.K. Handa is a widely recognised ENT surgeon that is one of the leading experts in India at laryngology, voice surgery, laser ENT surgery, and hearing implants. Dr. Handa currently serves as the Chairman of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram. He has served as a clinical and research leader for over three decades.

Before joining Medanta in 2009, Dr. Handa was an Associate Professor at AIIMS, New Delhi, and a Senior Resident at PGIMER, Chandigarh, among other high-level jobs. His leadership in the field of voice and lung problems is shown by the fact that he was President and Founder Secretary of the Association of Phono-Surgeons of India.

He is an expert surgeon who has done tiny surgeries on the ears, laser surgeries on the sinuses, thyroid and head-neck surgeries, and cochlear implantation. Dr. Handa was one of the first ENT doctors in India to get official training in laser ENT treatments while he was on his Commonwealth Fellowship at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, UK. He is also a pioneer in voice and laser surgeries.
