About Dr. Subodh Chandra Pande
Dr. Subodh Chandra Pande is a well-regarded radiation oncologist in India, with over four decades of clinical and academic expertise. Dr. Pande started his career at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, where he pioneered the establishment of neurological and paediatric oncology programmes. His experience eventually helped improve stereotactic radiation treatments at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi. He was also the Director of Medical Services at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre in Jaipur, where he played a key role in the commissioning of Rajasthan’s first linear accelerator.
Dr. Pande is particularly interested in image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and PET scan-based treatment planning. He is now a co-leader of the CyberKnife Centre at Artemis Hospitals in Gurgaon and is at the forefront of radiation oncology innovation.
