Dr. Suman Lata is a well known nephrologist and kidney transplant expert with over 15 years of experience in clinical nephrology, dialysis, and renal transplantation. She currently leads the Department of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at Manipal Hospital in Dwarka, New Delhi. Dr. Lata, a gold-standard expert, obtained her DM in Nephrology from AIIMS, New Delhi, one of India’s premier medical institutes.
She has furthered her international training by getting an ISN fellowship from St. George’s Healthcare NHS Trust, London, a premier transplant centre in the UK. Her area of interest is addressing kidney illnesses related with diabetes, hypertension, and autoimmune diseases including lupus nephritis.
