Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep B. Bhosale

Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep B. Bhosale is a highly esteemed and seasoned joint replacement surgeon in India, has over forty years of clinical experience in hip and knee replacement procedures. Dr. Bhosale, presently the Senior Director of Robotic Joint Replacement and Arthroplasty at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai, has executed over 20,000 joint replacement procedures, establishing himself as a leader in orthopaedics.

He has devoted more than 37 years to education and clinical practice at Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, where he held the position of Head of the Orthopaedics Department and served as an Orthopaedic Professor under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. Dr. Bhosale is the originator of the Bhosale Dual Hip Surgical Approach, a specialised method for addressing intricate hip situations.

Dr. Bhosale, an internationally trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, is a Ranawat Fellow in Total Joint Replacement (New York, USA) and has completed fellowships with the AO Foundation (Switzerland and Germany) as well as arthroplasty programs in the United Kingdom and Australia. He is a distinguished individual acknowledged for his exceptional accomplishments, having received several accolades including the “Sushruta Award” for Clinical Excellence, the Golden Aim Health Awards, and the title of “Man of the Year” from Nanavati Max Hospital in 2022.
