Dr. Luthra began his medical career at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune, where he later received his Master of Cardiac Surgery (M.Ch). His international training includes a fellowship in Coronary Artery Surgery from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia, as well as work as a Senior Registrar in Cardiac Surgery for the NHS in the United Kingdom.
