He is currently the Chief & Senior Consultant at Artemis Hospitals in Gurgaon, and he has over 18 years of surgical experience, having performed over 2,000 successful liver transplants with both living and deceased donors.
Dr. Bora obtained his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the University of Rajasthan before pursuing an MCh in Gastrointestinal Surgery at the renowned G.B. Pant Hospital in New Delhi. His extensive training at SGPGIMS in Lucknow helped build his clinical and academic prowess.
Dr. Bora has made significant contributions to India’s transplant environment, having performed the first liver transplant in Rajasthan. Under his direction, Artemis Hospital’s liver transplant programme became India’s first one that performed both pure laparoscopic and pure robotic donor procedures, and it has gained international acclaim, treating patients from over 20 nations.
