Dr. Vaid, who is currently Chairman of Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Stem Cell Transplant at Medanta – The Medicity in Gurugram, is regarded as the pioneer of North India’s largest private-sector Stem Cell Transplant Program.
Dr. Vaid holds a DM in Medical Oncology from Tamil Nadu’s Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai, as well as an MD in General Medicine and an MBBS. His clinical interests include cancer genomics, immunotherapy guidance, precision oncology, dendritic cell treatment, and stem cell/bone marrow transplantation. He has the distinction of performing the region’s first 25 bone marrow transplants and has played a pivotal role in expanding cancer treatment regimens in India.
