He completed his MBBS from SS Medical College, Rewa (M.P.), followed by MS (General Surgery) from Mumbai University. He then pursued DNB (Neurosurgery) at Safdarjung Hospital & Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, New Delhi, one of the busiest neurosurgical centers in the world. Further advancing his expertise, he completed a Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ottawa, Canada, a premier North American center of excellence.

Dr. Sharma has worked at leading institutions including Medanta – The Medicity (Gurgaon), Artemis Hospital (Gurgaon), Park Clinic (Kolkata), W-Pratiksha Hospital (Gurgaon), and Madhukar Rainbow Children’s Hospital (New Delhi). He has presented papers nationally and internationally, published multiple research articles, and contributed chapters to neurosurgical textbooks.

He also holds the rare distinction of serving as a Team Surgeon during the 34th Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica (2014–2015), earning him the title of “Polarman”.
