Liver Transplant Surgery replaces the patient’s damaged liver with a healthy donor liver. There are two types of donor livers: whole liver transplants from deceased people and partial liver transplants from living family members. We have one liver, but it may be safely divided into two parts—one for the transplant and the other for the donor. Both the transplanted liver and the donor’s liver grow quickly, reaching their previous size in 4-6 weeks, though shape may vary. The average cost of a liver transplant in India is between $21,000 and $28,000, depending on factors such as facility, donor type, and operation complexity.
We believe that great care starts with trust. That’s why we ensure complete transparency in our treatment pricing—no surprises, no hidden fees, just honest and clear costs for the care you deserve.

Robotic Liver Transplant A Robotic Liver Transplant uses advanced robotic technology for precise, minimally invasive surgery, resulting in smaller incisions, reduced blood loss, faster recovery, and quicker resumption of daily activities with less discomfort. | 28000 |
The liver Transplant surgery package includes donor and recipient pre-transplant checkups, operation charges, and hospital stays for the patient (1 day before surgery and 15-20 days post-transplant) and donor (5-7 days). Medication, consumables, and blood bank services are covered. Additional tests before or after surgery, hospital stays exceeding 3 weeks, and complications are not included in the package. Dialysis, CRRT, post-surgical radiological therapies like PTBD or CT-guided drainage, and imported drugs like Cytogam and Zoster are excluded.

Although spouses or friends may be eligible if they pass compatibility testing for blood type, liver size, and health, family members or close relatives are typically the most common living liver donors. As an alternative, patients can sign up for a deceased donor’s place on a nationwide waiting list, where liver distribution is determined by compatibility and medical urgency.
In most cases, the initial hospital stay that follows a liver transplant lasts between two and three weeks. It could take anywhere from a few months for the patient to make a full recovery, depending on the patient’s overall health and the outcomes of the transplant.
